Jyotshna Saud, wife of Nepal’s former Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prakash Saud (N.P. Saud), met spiritual teacher Yogi Priyavrat Animesh at OOJ Ashram in New Delhi on Thursday and received his blessings.
The interaction developed into a wider conversation on the centuries old spiritual and civilizational relationship between India and Nepal, with particular emphasis on Nepal’s Himalayan spiritual heritage, Yoga, meditation and the relevance of ancient wisdom in contemporary global society.
During the meeting, discussions also touched upon the potential for deeper India Nepal people to people and spiritual engagement, and the role that cultural and contemplative traditions can play in advancing dialogue on consciousness, peace and human well being.
Yogi Priyavrat Animesh emphasised the need to create meaningful bridges between ancient spiritual wisdom, contemporary inquiry and global dialogue, while preserving the authenticity of the traditions from which such knowledge emerges.
The interaction also explored how OOJ Foundation could contribute to future conversations connecting spiritual thinkers, researchers, cultural institutions and international communities, including greater engagement with Nepal.
The meeting concluded with Yogi Priyavrat Animesh extending his blessings to Saud and expressing hope for continued India Nepal engagement around spirituality, consciousness, cultural heritage and global harmony.
